C. Elmon Meade

2022 Sci-Fi Novel of the Year Award winner for the military science fiction and metaphysical fiction novel The Demagogue Wars. With 15 years of combined military experience—eight in the U.S. Army and seven in the USAF with the South Carolina Air National Guard—C. Elmon Meade served in Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. He currently works in finance as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified process engineer. He holds a BA in geography with a cognate in criminal justice from the University of South Carolina. Born in North Carolina, C. Elmon is a member of the Coharie Tribe with ancestors of Cherokee, Tuscarora, Lumbee, Yoruba, Angolan, European, and Turkish descent. He currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida and is an avid genealogist, beach lover, truth seeker, and Heyoka Empath.
